Susanna Kapoor was raised in Redlands, California and throughout her adolescence, had a strong desire to work as a healthcare practitioner. As an adult, she believed that the medical field was her calling; in 2008 she graduated from Midwestern University. She has been practicing medicine full time since 2008.

In her work with her patients, Susanna emphasizes the importance of preventative care. Simple changes in diet and exercise have long-lasting implications for each patient’s health. She also takes the time to explain to her patients how preventative care saves money in the long run. For every dollar spent on weight loss and/or exercise, someone can save three dollars later in life.

“Throughout life there are many ups and downs. For me, success is maintaining a positive perspective throughout all those changes.”

Every patient has a different story. Susanna goes into every exam knowing that every patient is human. She says that health is a continuum and every person has the option to get better or worse day-by-day. She believes the right health choice for all, is to meet with her and become educated about their current health status.

Outside of office hours, Susanna loves spending time with her husband. Together, they have two lovable family dogs.
