Caroline Ombuna is a Family Nurse Practitioner certified in the State of Arizona. She has worked as a registered nurse in various settings including Telemetry, medical/ surgical, hospice care, home health care, orthopedic, and 10 years in oncology. Caroline completed her Masters Degree in nursing from Grand Canyon University where she also obtained her family nurse practitioner degree and became certified with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She has worked in hematology as a nurse practitioner specializing in blood disorders and in family practice proving medical care, managing chronic illnesses and acute illnesses in all populations as well as teaching health promotion and disease prevention in family practice. She has been involved in various organizations throughout her career, including being a member of American Nurses Association (ANA), American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), Oncology Nurses Society (ONS), and BMTCN. Outside of work, Caroline has been married for 10 years to her loving husband with two children, a boy and a girl. She enjoys spending time with family, hiking, watching movies, and cooking her favorite dishes.
